There are many things on your mind when organising a party, and getting the right entertainment is crucial. From wedding receptions to birthday parties and beyond. To help with this decision process, I've put together a helpful list of questions you may ask before booking me.

Q: How
much do you
charge for a
mobile disco?
My prices are
tailored to your
function &
individual
requirements. Discounts from recommendations are also available.

Q: Which areas
do you cover?
I'm available for mobile discos & DJ gigs around the whole of Essex and surrounding areas.
Q: What music do
you have - and
can I make
requests?
My collection
stretches back
to the 1950's
right up the the
latest chart
hits. The
music for your
event is always
tailored to your
requirements.
You can request
songs in advance
of your event
and I'll
always do my
best to find the
music you want.
As an
experienced DJ,
I've got a great
idea on how to
get the dance
floor moving.
Guests can
request songs
on the night, but please bare in mind its your party and I
much prefer to
entertain the
whole crowd
rather than one
or two
individuals.
However, I will
do my best to
play them when
they fit into
the rest of the
party.
Q: I'd like to
book you for my
party - what
happens next?
Once you've been
in touch, I've
taken down a few
details and
given you a
quote, I send
out a booking
form for
you to complete along with some booking terms and conditions. the booking form contains
important
details to fill
in about your
event, music &
venue. This also acts
as a contract
between myself
and the client
to ensure
the function
runs smoothly.
The forms need
to be returned
along with a
non-refundable
deposit.
Once received, I
then send you
confirmation in
writing detailing everything we've discussed from setup times to music. I also like to meet you before the party to discuss music requirements. It's a chance for you ask any further questions too.
Ahead of any event I'm booked for, I always visit the venue to check it's suitability for my setup.
Q: Are you
insured - and
how do I pay?
I hold Public
Liability
Insurance up to
£5 million and
all equipment is
portable
appliance
tested on a yearly basis. When booking, your
deposit needs to
be sent back
with the booking form I send you. Remaining or full payment
is required
before the gig
starts. Ideally
a week or two in
advance if
possible.
Q: Can I see you
'in action'
before my party?
At the moment this isn't possible unless a customer agrees you can. However, I do meet all potential clients ahead of them booking me though to chat through all aspects of their function. There are some excellent testimonials on my website too.
Q: I'm looking
for a
eighties/nineties
themed
party/night -
are you able to
cater for that?
Absolutely. Eighties and nineties are two of my favourite decades of music. I spent seven years as a DJ in venues which specialised in those eras.
